This boutique space features carefully chosen vintage decor and curious details, hinting of veiled secrets, unsolved mysteries and forbidden romance. Our studio is fully decorated, photo ready, and conveniently located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This unique space is suitable for photo crews up to 15 and video crews up to 10. The studio features one large, completely private room which is fully furnished, lit, and decorated. You're welcome to move furniture around as long as you're very careful and put everything back in place before the end of your booking. 24hrs notice required | Available 7 days a week | 8am-9pm (bookings outside these hours may be subject to higher rates) __FAQ's__ **Can I do less time or a lower rate? We have set our costs to the absolute minimum in order to cover our operating costs and peerspace commission. Below are the approx. lowest rates we can offer, which apply to anything under 3hrs, weekdays only. We cannot offer any discounts on weekends. 1-5 crew $305 | 6-9 crew $325 | 10-15 crew $345 **Can I book off the platform? It is against the platform’s policy to book off the platform when you have found us through here. **Can I use both sides of the room? Yes! You can use both sides of the room for shooting or storage. ___________ SPACE FEATURES - 750 ft² studio space - 26' x 28' rough dimensions - Fully Furnished and decorated - Feature lighting - Bluetooth Speakers - WiFi - Work table and chairs - Fridge - Restroom CONVENIENCE Conveniently located off the Bedford L station in Williamsburg INCONVENIENCE We do not have elevator access, but it's just one floor down. To make things a bit easier, we allow a grace period of 10min before and after your booking to load in/out and we provide C-stands and sandbags. SCHEDULING Our minimum booking is 3hrs (or the equivalent rate). Shorter bookings almost always end up using additional time which incurs overtime fees. Please be sure your booking request includes enough time to load in, set up, wrap, and load out. DAYLIGHT This studio has NO windows! ...But the photo shows a large windowed balcony?! It's a light box built into the wall for photo shoots. It looks and feels like sunlight streaming through the doors when it's on, but it's an illusion. Regardless of the actual time of day, the light in the room is controllable, from bright daylight to a subdued evening glow. RECORDING SOUND? It's a new space, and so far has been quiet enough for recording clean audio. That said, we are not a sound stage and can't guarantee that there won't be occasional sounds from the hallway, or a random car horn. GIANT FABRIC HEART Due to its fragile nature, this prop may only be handled for an additional fee of $35/day. STUDIO EQUIPMENT Don't lug your C-Stands around! We have c-stands and various other grip equipment available for your convenience. Grip: 4- Adult C-stands 1- Baby C-stand 5- Sand Bags 4- Full Apple Boxes 10- Spring clamps Electric: 6- extension cords 100amps- 5x20a circuits are available for lights and equipment DISCLOSURE ABOUT THE BATHROOM The Cosmic Toilet is a unique experience and opinions about it have varied from "coolest bathroom in Brooklyn" to "I'm gonna go find a Starbucks". It's about a 100′ down the hall from the studio and we have very little control over what it looks like, or what items you may encounter on your journey to find it. But it does the job.
