The 2011 romantic-comedy “Just Go With It” was a showcase for the comedic chemistry between Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. A remake of the 1969 film “Cactus Flower”, the movie follows Adam Sandler as a man who pretends to be in an unhappy marriage to get with women. He winds up getting caught in a lie and has to recruit his assistant, played by Jennifer Aniston, to pretend to be his soon-to-be ex-wife in order to try and woo a younger woman.
Part of the appeal of the movie is the beautiful resort that the characters travel to and spend much of the film at. Los Angeles “Just Go With It” filming locations

Before we head out to vacation with the characters, there are a few scenes in the beginning of the movie that take place in Los Angeles. Some of the fancy locations that are near Adam Sandler’s plastic surgery office are sure to make you ask the question: where was “Just Go With It” filmed? According to the movie’s IMDB page, the production found these shots in a luxurious Beverly Hills neighborhood.
One of the other Los Angeles locations that were used in the movie was Sony Pictures Studios. This was for any of the scenes that needed soundstages or for some of the interior shots.
The other places that the production utilized in the Los Angeles area are 1000 Gayley Avenue, which is a sports bar named Rocco’s, and the Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica.
Now that we have covered where the characters have been in Los Angeles we can get to the fun part and head to Hawaii!
Where did they film the resort in “Just Go With It”?

Probably the most memorable location from the movie is the beautiful Hawaiian resort that the characters stay at while on vacation. The serene atmosphere and gorgeous beaches are almost a distraction from the comedy that’s happening on screen. It’s almost enough to make you ask the question: where was “Just Go With It” filmed?
According to It’s About Traveling, the resort is called Grand Wailea Resort on the Hawaiian island of Maui and is a Hilton Hotel. The luxury hotel and resort live up to the name, with rooms costing anywhere between $500 a night to $1500.
Along with the gorgeous Wailea beach that runs along the resort, it boasts 40 acres of an exotic tropical paradise. The website for the resort mentions just a few of the amazing things you can expect to experience while staying there. They are always having Hawaiian Luaus for guests to experience and have many excursions out on the rest of the island.
Where did they film the Waterfall in “Just Go With It”?

One of the most memorable pieces of Hawaiian scenery that we see in the movie is when the characters go on a hike to a beautiful waterfall. Anybody who has seen the movie probably remembers this scene in particular and after seeing the waterfall asked the question: where was “Just Go With It” Filmed?
If you want to find this specific waterfall, then you should head to the island of Kauai, also known as Hawaii’s Garden Island. The Cinemaholic says that the waterfall itself is called Kilauea Falls. However hiking to the falls is no longer allowed.
According to Condos in Kilauea, the area near the falls was purchased, and a 30 million dollar home was placed on the property, and the owner barred access to the falls. It is very sad to hear that the natural beauty of the waterfall is no longer accessible to the public, but there are other waterfalls that are available to visit such as Secret Falls, Ho’opi’i, Waipoo, and Hanakapiai Falls.
It is still possible to get a glimpse of Kilauea Falls if you head down Kahili Quarry Road, according to an article in Green Global Travel. In that article, there are also a few more waterfalls that we did not mention if you’d like to see where else you can trek to on Kauai.
