About
Carmen Brock, an accomplished writer and curator of beautiful things and spaces, brings a lifetime of creative expertise to the world of event planning and hosting. Having grown up on a cattle and tobacco farm in Kentucky, Carmen developed her flair for aesthetic detail and hospitality from an early age. She later earned a B.A. in English Literature from Georgetown College and an M.Div. in Theology from Emory University, setting the foundation for her thoughtful, community-focused approach. For 14 years, Carmen owned Trohv, a beloved home goods and vintage shop in Baltimore, MD. This venture honed her skills in design, retail curation, and crafting spaces that inspire. Today, she channels her versatile talents into projects spanning design, wholesale-to-retail manufacturing, flower farming, and writing. Known for her impeccable eye and expert hosting advice, Carmen's passion lies in helping others create meaningful gatherings. Whether it’s designing a tablescape or selecting the perfect cocktail pairing, she believes every detail should tell a story. When she’s not immersed in her work, you can find her nose deep in a book, savoring a dirty martini, and dreaming up her next creative endeavor.
