Tambury has quite a few landmarks that fans become very familiar with over the course of the show. Some of the other notable locations from Hemel Hempstead include the Old Town Hall and Gadebridge Park.

According to the Herts Advertiser, a real version of the “Hope Is Everything” bench has been placed in the park around the corner from Tony’s newspaper office. They also mention that 25 locations received one of the benches ahead of the show’s final season. Each one has a message of hope along with a QR code that leads to the CALM initiative’s webpage.

Gervais had this to say about the benches and working with CALM: “We hope the benches will create a lasting legacy for After Life, as well as become a place for people to visit, and we are thrilled to be associated with CALM and the great work they do.”
